     All this cool weather is paying off, isn't it?  Yellow leaves dot every yard around here and the happy month of August has arrived!  We love everyrging
about this month, from the twirling leaves to school days again and the cool but not too cool weather...fall's official kick-off is just around the corner!

     In this month's issue of Feather Your Nest, we're celebrating a new cookbook, Having Tea With Mommy, with a collection of recipes, inspiration, and photos that remind us of days spent long ago with granny and our families.  We hope you'll find a new   favorite recipe for your next event.

I love tea so much, and I want to share with you some of my favorites.  As a publisher I am able to meet new and exciting people and share with them ways to have a delightful tea.  Everyday is a new experience and I discover the unlimited opportunities.  Let me share an interesting idea with you.  

We're making a new cookbook, Having Tea With Mommy and would love to include YOUR families tried and true recipes for
finger sandwiches, your favorite tea recipe, scones and more.

We're looking for basic recipes...simple and satisfying.

Feather your nest on this cold winters day...

Oooooh, don't you just love January?  The Cold

mornings, brisk wind and occasional snow storms

just give me the warm fuzzies.

I think what's so wonderful about winter months

is that they give us an excuse to stay indoors,

bundle up, and eat heart warming foods.

Kayla is in school training to become a CNA,

she has one brother, "Jay" James David

who manages an auto parts store.
